Apps

The Aplicativos (Apps) screen (under Conteúdo, Content) lists everything Qlik Cloud treats as an app: analytics apps, data scripts and data flows, with space, owner, type, publishing status and last reload.

Inventory

• The Tipo (Type) column separates analytics app, data script and data flow. Only analytics apps count in totals, can be put under management and get documentation.
• Publicado (Published) means the app was published through Qlik’s flow or sits in a managed space.
• Gestão (Management) shows whether the app’s Section Access is managed in Qovern.
• Use search to filter by name, type, space or owner.

The inventory is updated by the sync. To refresh it right away, use Sincronizar apps e usuários (Sync apps and users) in the account menu.

The app’s history in Qlik

The Histórico (History) button opens a timeline of what happened to the app in Qlik Cloud: creation, copy, publishing, script edits, export, deletion and reloads, with the person responsible when Qlik provides it.

• Consecutive script edits and publishing of several sheets are grouped into a single line.
• Automatic Qlik actions show up as Qlik (automático) (Qlik, automatic).
• Qlik keeps 90 days of events. From the moment you connect, Qovern stores a copy and keeps the history. On the Standard plan, the screen shows the last 30 days.

This history is different from the Section Access rule history, which shows what was done in Qovern.

Automatic documentation

Available on the Pro and Enterprise plans. In the app’s Documentação (Documentation) panel, administrators and managers click Gerar documentação (Generate documentation). Qovern reads the app’s script and data model and builds a page with:

• script tabs, tables, fields, data sources and variables;
• sheets, objects, master measures and dimensions and master visualizations;
• reload schedule and app size, when available.

Each generation becomes a version (v1, v2…), which can be opened later, printed or saved as PDF. Only people with access to the customer’s Qovern can open the link: there is no public link. The full script is shown only to administrators.

Scheduling

The Agendamento (Scheduling) button opens the app’s reload schedules. See Reloads.
